About Samia Mehbub
Samia Mehbub is a Writing Specialist at South Florida State College and a graduate student at the University of Central Florida, pursuing an M.A. in English with a focus on rhetoric and composition. She holds a B.A. in English Literature. A versatile writer, Samia is a blogger, essayist, poet, and short story author whose work has appeared in The Mindful Word , Dumb Little Man , and The Elephant Journal , as well as in literary magazines such as Turtle Way , Blue Minaret , and Word Gathering . She is the author of Inspired: To Comfort Your Soul and Inspired to Comfort Your Soul: Volume II . She has completed a novel and is currently working on a memoir. Samia also serves as a transcript reader for the Harvard Review and a book reviewer for Neon Origami.
