About Samia Mehbub

Samia Mehbub is a Writing Specialist at South Florida State College and a graduate student at the University of Central Florida, pursuing an M.A. in English with a focus on rhetoric and composition. She holds a B.A. in English Literature. A versatile writer, Samia is a blogger, essayist, poet, and short story author whose work has appeared in The Mindful Word, Dumb Little Man, and The Elephant Journal, as well as in literary magazines such as Turtle Way, Blue Minaret, and Word Gathering. She is the author of Inspired: To Comfort Your Soul and Inspired to Comfort Your Soul: Volume II. She has completed a novel and is currently working on a memoir. Samia also serves as a transcript reader for the Harvard Review and a book reviewer for Neon Origami.
